Instructor: Lynda Karlis

The study of well-being and happiness is a relatively new field in psychology. Join us as we explore what the science can tell us about satisfaction, what gives life meaning and how to incorporate these ideas into our lives. The topics covered will include resiliency, hope, optimism and gratitude. Gratitude (thankfulness) will be given special emphasis in recognition of Thanksgiving.

About the Presenter: Lynda started her career as a school psychologist where she worked in K-12 education for 18 years. In 2008 Lynda began her second (and very satisfying) career as a professor of psychology for Macomb Community College. Lynda is now officially retired and enjoying this next chapter in her life!
